ATMOSPHERE

                             Relaxation and Romance

Chabuca’s has an exterior made of Austin stone and an interior of natural wood and wrought iron, providing a warm, cozy atmosphere with soft lights and live music ideal for romance or just plain relaxation.

The Main Dining Room:  The main room has walls of natural wood, and a high ceiling of antiqued bronzed tin give the room its brown tones, with an interior roof that gives the feel of an outdoor café, while still being inside. Soft Tiffany lights and live music on the baby grand make this room ideal for romance

The Bar:  The Macumba Lounge upstairs offers dining, a 40’ long bar and soft leather seats, overlooking the downstairs main dining area and piano.  Smoking is permitted. Try the Cuban Mojitos, the Brazilian Caipirinhas or our Lemon Drop Martini.  Laid back and cozy.

Private Rooms:  Chabuca’s offers three private dining rooms for special events, all of which provide a unique ambience for any meeting or special event.  Two of them sit 55 people each, or may be combined to sit 110.  Walled with French Renaisance padded cloth wall covering with an original tapestry of the Amazon rain forest, and nine foot French doors, they bring life to any meeting. The third room has a large stone fireplace and private mahogany bar and sits up to 75 guests. DJ equipment and projection screens are available.

Music:

Every evening we offer live piano music featuring American jazz standards, and romantic Latin boleros, very little of it modern.  On Fridays and Sundays, we also feature a flamenco guitar trio.  Romantic, relaxing, just plain enjoyable.
